Cellular Immunology Proficiency Testing Program
Cellular Immunology Laboratory
The Cellular Immunology Proficiency Testing Program offers proficiency testing for laboratories that analyze the function and/or the phenotype of the white blood cells (lymphocytes/leukocytes) that comprise the immune system. This program is administered through the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP). At this time, proficiency testing is offered twice a year for the following assays: lymphocyte proliferation (PHA stimulated), lymphoid/T-lymphoid immunophenotyping, stem cell (CD34) analysis, and malignant leukocyte immunophenotyping. To view category and proficiency test descriptions, please review the New York State Department of Health Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program Guide to Program Requirements and Services.
